How much does a wedding cake from Sugar and Spiced Cakes cost?

Collections start from £250 for the Micro Collection, designed for intimate gatherings of up to 50 guests. The Heritage Buttercream and Alternate Collections start from £550, and the Gilded / Signature Tier Collection starts from £950.

Sugar and Spiced Cakes is based in Heathfield, East Sussex, and covers East Sussex, Battle, Eastbourne, Hastings, Uckfield, Royal Tunbridge Wells, East Grinstead, and Kent.
Do you cater for dietary requirements, including vegan and gluten-free?

Yes. A full vegan flavour menu is available (made to order, with a minimum of 7 days’ notice for samples), and most flavours can be prepared as an allergen-friendly alternative on request.
How do I book a consultation?

Can I taste the cake before I order?
Three consultation options are available: the Classic Consultation (£42.50), the Luxury Consultation (£57.50), and Letterbox Samples & Zoom (£42.50). In-person consultations run on Saturdays from January to April and September to November;private web consultations can be arranged on other days. A £150 non-refundable retainer secures your date.
Yes — every consultation includes a tasting: five flavours at the Classic Consultation, six at the Luxury Consultation, or six flavours sent by post with the Letterbox Samples & Zoom option.
As a general guide, allow at least 3 months’ notice for a buttercream-finished design, and 6 months for a design with fondant and hand-crafted sugar flowers, which take considerably longer to produce. The Luxury Traditional Fruit Cake requires a minimum of 6 months’ notice, and cake samples require at least 7 days’ notice.
